There are two kinds of asthma medication, the first is the drug routinely used to prevent asthma attacks. The second is drugs which are used to relieve symptoms when the attack occurs.
1. Preventive asthma medication
Preventive asthma medications are generally taken once or twice a day to prevent asthma attacks. This type of drugs works to reduce inflammation in the respiratory tract in the lungs.The aim is to prevent the respiratory muscles tighten suddenly.
Besides drugs, personal care is the most important thing in controlling asthma. The best way to overcome the anxiety and sense of helplessness because of asthma is to take some action which  reduce the risk of asthma. Try to take a short break between one task and the other one. In addition, avoid or limit activities that can aggravate asthma.
Perform various precautions when exercising.
For many people with asthma, exercise can trigger seizures in the respiratory tract. But it does not mean you do not need to exercise. In fact, regular exercise is good for asthma sufferers.
